CO-DEVELOPMENT AND PROTECTION
In France, we focus on economic development of the area and producing all of our active ingredients there, as well as contributing to a local dynamic by making use of the byproducts of sustainable agriculture, such as plum kernels, cherry stones and lupin seed coatings.
It is also our responsibility to control the impact of the production of our products through firm commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as well as the consumption of water and energies, while depending as little as possible on non-renewable forms of energy:
- In 2019 (compared with 2010, for 100 units produced): a 1.1% reduction in electricity consumption, a 16.8% reduction in gas consumption and a 16.5% reduction in water consumption.
- In 2015 (compared with 2008, for 100 units produced): a 25% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (excluding sourcing of raw materials and subsidiaries’ distribution activities).
- All of our manufacturing processes are “green”: molecular distillation, plant extraction, biotechnology.
